Karla Colletto is a couture swimwear company that retails suits at upwards of $500. Their American-made suits can be found on the racks of upscale retailers including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Everything But Water and more. Each piece is hand crafted in their in-house manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
· Utilizes Yunique PLM software to maintain 100+ detailed tech packs each year from development through to production
· Creates design detail images and POM images using Adobe Illustrator to be included in tech packs
· Demonstrates fluency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Teams
· Created a company library of construction details to improve workflow and streamline input for Gerber Quick True Cost (QTC) to create accurately calculated production times for company costing
· Implemented a tracking system to pinpoint 150+ samples sent to PR and showroom partners each season to meet deadlines for timely delivery and return
· Reports directly to the company head and presents TOP samples for final approval of fit, quality and construction
· Takes meticulous notes during fit meetings and feedback sessions to make adjustments as needed
· Put forward a project management tool to improve transparency in the product development process
· Works directly with the sample maker to develop best manufacturing strategies, workflow improvements and troubleshoot potential fabrication challenges
· Collaborates with the lead pattern maker to ensure accuracy in fit of final product
· Leads 60+ training sessions per year for team members on the production floor for each new season of designs
· Creates and delivers cut tickets to the cutting room for initial product sampling and fit changes

Ashley Rose Clothing is a sustainable women’s and children’s clothing line that offers playfully modern styles. All styles are responsibly produced in the United States and made from sustainable materials including hemp, tencel and organic cotton.
Responsibilities
· Founded an eco-friendly childrenswear and womenswear brand
· Drafted infant and kids clothing patterns and constructed all new styles over 6 years
· Sourced sustainable fabrics and trims from international vendors
· Operated industrial sewing machines to produce garments
· Designed custom fabric prints in collaboration with local artists and manipulated artwork in Adobe Illustrator to optimize artwork for printing
· Utilized social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
